Description

The CORTEX flap disc is designed for grinding metal surfaces, working on weld seams, removing burrs and preparing surfaces for further finishing. The angled T29 profile is useful for edges, contours, weld seams and less accessible areas. Zirconia abrasive is well suited to more demanding steel grinding and material removal. As the abrasive flaps wear, fresh abrasive is exposed, helping maintain working performance during use.

Use

Use with an angle grinder, matching the disc diameter and permitted speed to the tool specifications. Hold the disc at its working angle, move it evenly and avoid dwelling in one spot to limit heat build-up. Work with the guard fitted and wear appropriate protective equipment.
