The CORTEX Standard hand sander holds a sanding sheet or mesh for manual sanding of walls, ceilings, filled areas and other flat surfaces. Its flat working base helps distribute hand pressure across a wider area and reduces the risk of creating isolated depressions. It is useful for levelling surfaces after filling, smoothing transitions and preparing substrates for painting.

Use

Secure a correctly sized sanding sheet or mesh in the sander’s fastening mechanism. Sand with long, even strokes while keeping the full working base against the surface. Remove accumulated dust thoroughly before painting.
