Description

The CORTEX clean-and-strip disc is designed to remove paint, varnish, rust, oxidation and other surface-coating residues from metal and to prepare surfaces before welding, painting or finishing. Its open, porous structure lets the abrasive reach the surface and helps reduce clogging with removed coating. It is intended for surface cleaning without grinding as aggressively as a conventional rigid grinding disc.

Use

Use with an angle grinder where the disc fitting and marking specify this application. Start with light contact, move the disc across the surface and check the result frequently. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent damaging the base material.
