The CORTEX pointed-angle sanding sponge is intended for manual sanding in woodworking, furniture production, painting and repair work. Its resilient backing follows the workpiece shape and helps keep the abrasive in contact with the surface. The pointed profile makes it easier to sand corners, narrow areas and less accessible parts of a workpiece. It can be used to level surfaces between finishing stages, remove small irregularities and prepare parts for painting or varnishing.

Use

Hold the sponge by hand and sand with even strokes, avoiding excessive pressure on one spot. Use the broad face on flat areas and the shaped edge that best follows the profile on contoured sections. Remove sanding dust before the next finishing stage.
